GNU/EDMA Performance
  • For full-featured applications, GNU/EDMA introduces a performance penalty
  • The system provides additional primitives to boost parts of the code, sacrifying some features
  • The use of the C language and its open interface provides full control to the programmer

low-level method invocation
  • In addition to the general method invocation interface, a low level API is provided
  • Low-level API allows to access method code directly as if they were a C function
  • Working this way, a performance similar to C++ is achieved
